Mission San Juan Bautista

Jane's 4th Grade Mission Project was based on Mission San Juan Bautista near Hollister, Ca.  We drove the 6+ hours north to tour the mission and see the sights.  It was located on the San Andreas Fault-line (whew!) but we all survived! :)

Jane was our "tour guide" for the day so we all followed her around the mission...

as well as on the San Andreas Fault Exhibit and El Camino Real Earthquake Walk...

We also visited the Old San Juan Jail...

We had a great time exploring and learning new things.  What a beautiful area!
